Joe Ingram, Jazz Instructor extraordinaire, will be back to lead this great camp in 2016! Camp is for students entering grades 7-12 in fall with one or more years experience. Joe Ingram has taught music for 35 years, the majority of them as band director at Shasta Middle School. In 1993, he was awarded the Presidential Scholars Distinguished Teachers Award in a ceremony at the White House, and in 2005 he was selected as one of six Oregon Middle School Teachers of the Year. He is now teaching jazz at Cal Young MS, and is also the leader of the ESYO Jazz Band – the SoulBop Groovinators! Click here for photos of last year’s terrific concert at Oakway!
